Who are we?

Hi! My name is Emily Juckes and I am the founder of this initiative. I am now a senior in high school, but I found my passion for combatting food insecurity many years ago when I was in middle school. I had the idea to do a food drive as part of a service learning activity I was doing in my history class. That activity led me to truly research food insecurity for the first time which opened my eyes to how serious of an issue food insecurity is. This spurred me to try to collect food donations throughout my neighborhood on a scale that could make a difference.
